Swords Express

We’ve had ticket machine problems over the last day with the fare increases. This is a teething problem, but it is seriously embarassing for us. If we can’t get it sorted out by the morning, the plan is to charge the off-peak fare until we get it right.

UPDATE: this problem is resolved and the correct tickets are being issued for the correct prices, and 10-journey tickets are available and being issued on all coaches.

We now have plenty of capacity on all our evening services. On the odd occasion when certain buses fill up (usually because there has been a traffic delay) we have an extra bus a few minutes behind. Read the rest of this entry »

OAPs know it’s important not to waste time. That’s part of why Swords Express accepts the Social Welfare old age pensioner (OAP) pass and other social welfare passes. Please be sure to tell any senior citizens you know in the Swords area and get them a copy of our times if they need it (although the leaflet should have dropped through every letterbox in Swords by today or tomorrow.
