We’re getting ready to launch the Swords Express Bus Service. There’s been a lot of preparation going on in the background and soon we’ll be ready to go.

The core benefit of our service is regular, rapid, comfortable travel to the city centre, taking advantage of the Dublin Port Tunnel, the Swords Bus Corridor, and future developments, especially the new bus corridor along North Wall Quay and the Macken Street Bridge.

As well as reducing commute times for the people of Swords, we hope to make Swords a more attractive destination for shopping and working.

We are anxious to work with the community and we welcome all your suggestions.

Is there any plans to extend the route at the Swords end? (i.e) to encompass Applewood area and Swords manor? would be great duirng the winter months to extend the swords end slightly?

  2. Trish Says:

How can we identify the bus, what colour is it ?

  3. U Cullen Says:

Just to say I think a service from Applewood/Glen Ellen would be very popular particularly given that most of our buses (41C) all run through River Valley making the journey to city even longer.

Best of luck with the venture.
