Eeek, Halloween is tomorrow and you haven’t planned where to celebrate the darker half of the year yet?! Fear not - we found great events happening in Dublin and the good news is Halloween celebrations will roll into the weekend giving you time to find a spooktacular event to show off your costume or in some cases, time to make one!
You’re probably wondering why it is s secret when people know about it? Well, you may know of the event but what you do not know is the location. This is kept under wraps that will only be revealed to you on the day. As well as fine food there will be Halloween themed entertainment to keep everyone buzzing. The event kicks off at 19.00 and costumes and masks are essential.
Hosted at Buskers on the Ball in Temple Bar this event is exactly what it says on the tin with a €100 cash prize for the winner. The fun begins from 19.00. Oh, and there is a fancy dress prize so be sure to come dressed as a famous footballer!
Enjoy dinner and drinks on Halloween in the award-winning Koh restaurant located along the Millennium Walkway aka the Italian Quarter. Arrive between 19.00 and 20.00 and enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail in their cocktail lounge. You only need to register for this event and pay for dinner on the night which includes a glass of prosecco and 3-courses – vegetarians are catered for. Dress to impress!
District 8 (Airside Retail Park) have revamped their dedicated club space into a Spooktacular spectacle on Halloween night. There is a stellar line-up performing on the night as well as art installations to create a creepy ambiance! Dress spooky.
This Halloween the National Wax Museum invites you to reclaim their haunted house from the pumpkin king! This museum has been transformed into a haunted house guarded by ghosts, ghouls and witches- and of course the pumpkin king. This is a event for all the family.
This isn’t an ordinary walking tour of Dublin City, it focuses on true crime horrors that actually took place right where you will stand. This tour is created by Old Dublin Crime and lasts 90-120 minutes so dress warm. Tortures, punishments, disease, horrifying events, macabre details make this unsuitable for the faint hearted or children.
